Stephanie Teekaram, chef at the Academy of Baking and Pastry Arts, was born and raised in Guyana and migrated to the USA in 2003 to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. She attended the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) where she graduated with Diplomas in Culinary Arts, Pastry and Baking and Restaurant Management. Over the years, she's developed skills in cake design and expedition, menu creation and development, pastry and baking production, purchasing and inventory and kitchen staff supervision.
